Brian Ingemann, principal
Mr. Ingemann begins his sixteenth year in administration at Oak Grove Middle School. Prior to becoming the principal, he served as the assistant principal at Oak Grove for seven years. Prior to Bloomington, Mr. Ingemann was a dean of students at Chippewa Middle School in Mounds View, a 6th grade teacher at South View Middle School in Edina, and a 6th grade teacher at Cannon Falls Elementary in Cannon Falls. Mr. Ingemann holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, masters degrees in curriculum and instruction and educational administration from Minnesota State Mankato and St. Mary's University respectively. He also holds an educational specialist degree in leadership from Mankato.
Tim Ciavarri, assistant principal
Mr. Ciavarri is very excited to serve in his role as assistant principal at Oak Grove Middle School. Mr. Ciavarri began his work in Bloomington Public Schools in 2001 as a technology education teacher and has served most recently in the capacity of dean of students for Oak Grove Middle School. Prior to working for Bloomington, Mr. Ciavarri taught technology education in the Osseo School District at North View Jr. High School for three years. Mr. Ciavarri holds undergraduate degrees in philosophy and education from LeMoyne College and Oswego State University of New York respectively. He also holds a masters degree in industrial technology and training from the University of Minnesota and a specialists degree in administration from Minnesota State Mankato. Mr. Ciavarri is excited to be a part of Oak Grove Middle School and its administrative team.
Rebecca Brower, dean of students
Rebecca Brower is excited to support the students and staff as Dean of Students. Ms. Brower taught sixth grade science at Oak Grove for nine years prior to serving as Dean of Students. Prior to joining the Oak Grove staff, she taught second grade at Minnehaha Academy. She holds an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ms. Brower also holds a masters degree in Science Education from the University of Minnesota and an Educational Leadership Specialist degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She is looking forward to another great year as a part of the Oak Grove staff.
